YouTube TV Show: Geologist

A 3-minute produced video project with voiceover and music that follows a geologist at the Sierrita Mine, explaining what a geologist does to an intended audience of 9th to 12th graders.

Additional content:

• B-roll of the mine environment

• extra (possibly): extracting some shots into a vertical format for mobile use (Tik-Tok, etc.)

Budget: $6,500 to $7,500

SINGLE-CAMERA, VOICE OVER, PROFILE SAMPLE VIDEO: VIDEO OF DR JOEL CUELLO AT THE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND LIFE SCIENCES — This is a 90 second video sample of a single-subject video that we can do for the students selected to be featured. We can also do a similar video for the program’s director, if we choose to feature him as well.

TIER 3: Adding some other elements to consider

  • Graphics Pack (We can create specific graphics that can bring up specific points in the video and branding)
  • Second camera operator to focus on capturing B-roll of mine environment for future use
  • Three (3) edited vertical videos from :15 – :45 seconds long for Social Media use, one round of edits each

3-ANGLE SAMPLE VIDEO: ENGINEERING STUDENTS TALK ABOUT HOW SCHOLARSHIPS CHANGED THEIR LIVES — These were candid responses, but we did go back and ask students to respond a certain way, or repeat something they said but phrase it with something like “the [NAME OF SCHOLARSHIP] was a big help with me not needing to get a second job…”

TWO-CAMERA SAMPLE VIDEO: Mini-documentary trailer about Indigenous dances in popular culture.

:30-SECOND CAMPAIGN VIDEO SAMPLE:— A peppy, graphics and visuals driven campaign video

DIGITAL CAMPAIGN SERIES VIDEO SAMPLE:— Part of the same web series “Brucie Interrupted” for Canon USA to promote the release of the Canon EOS 5D MKIV. This is another example of single-camera production (aside from the time lapse), using Voice Over for the main audio track.

GRAPHICS PACK SAMPLE:— Safety product sales video, you can see samples of graphics we created. Although, filming, graphics, and editing were part of the client’s package.
