We’re highlighting our friends at the University of Arizona’s Institute for Computation and Data-Enabled Insight for their recent success at the PRSA Impact Awards. They took home five awards, including Best in Show for their newsletter “AI Update.” Their digital campaign “Data Connects Us,” which included photos and videos produced by our team, also won an Award of Excellence!
The campaign highlighted University of Arizona researchers, faculty, and students who leverage data to help civilization. The topics and individuals ranged from agriculture to healthcare and from PTSD to outer space, making for engaging visuals and fun stories. We worked closely with Stephanie Doster and Mariana Calvo-Llanos to come up with creative ways to highlight our data-wielding stars.
Here’s one of our favorites from the campaign: a video featuring Sebastian Calleja, a PhD student researching drought-resistant crops using data from ‘the world’s largest robot.’
